Free Baggage Allowance:
Domestic Flights: ATA accepts three pieces of checked baggage and one piece of carry-on baggage at no charge, per ticketed person, subject to aircraft limitations.
International Flights: ATA accepts two pieces of checked baggage and one piece of carry-on baggage at no charge, per ticketed person, subject to aircraft limitations.
Bags must be in compliance with ATA dimensional and weight restrictions, which can be reviewed below under Carry-on Baggage, by calling our Reservations Centre, at airport ticket counters and gates, and in ATA's Contract of Carriage. [see below]
Checked Baggage:
Dimensions: Maximum bag sizes are measured by linear dimensions (length+width+height = linear inches allowed). Checked bags may not exceed 62 linear inches, and may not exceed 50 lbs. per piece.
Exception - Charter Flights: • Total allowed weight is 44 lbs. per ticketed customer

Not included in Free Baggage Allowance. A special per item charge
applies. One item is defined as: one wind surfboard,
one mast, one beam (sic) and sail.
Shipped contingent upon space availability, and must
be properly packed to prevent damage to the board. There is a fee of 50$.
