If you're travelling light you get 15kg free of charge, if you want to up this to 20kg it'll cost you £7.50.
Note that you can only get this increase at this rate at the time of booking online. If you change your mind later it will cost you more.


Your hand baggage must not exceed 5 kg in weight or 43 cm x 28 cm x 23cm in size (including wheels, handles, side pockets etc).

If you are travelling with Thomas Cook Airlines subsequent extra baggage allowance can be pre-booked at the following rates:

For an extra 5kg the charge is £25 per person each way – short/short haul plus destinations


For an extra 10kg the charge is £50 per person each way - short/short haul plus destinations


For an extra 5kg the charge is £35 per person each way - long haul destinations


For an extra 10kg the charge is £70 per person each way - long haul destinations


Short haul flight is under 3 hours duration


Short haul plus flights include the following destinations: Turkey, Canary Islands, Cyprus, Morocco, Egypt, Gambia, Greece and the Greek Islands (from the UK)


Long haul flight 7 hours and over

It's worth knowing that ONE windsurfer can consist of two bags, one for the board one for the rig, but that each bag needs to weigh less than 30kg.
