There's a lot of information on the Iberia website regarding sports equipment, but it falls short of actually telling you how much they are going to charge. Therefore we've asked them and will update when we get an answer. Here's the website text:
"Surfing equipment consists exclusively of a board. Windsurfing equipment comprises a board, a boom, a centreboard, a mast and a sail.
COSTS:
Excess luggage
Under the weight system:
Equipment of this kind will always be checked in as excess luggage, regardless of the allowance to which passengers are entitled. Irrespective of the actual weight of the equipment, the following standard weight table will apply:
Windsurfing equipment 35 kgs.
Surfboard 20 Kgs.
Other components (sail, etc.) 15 Kgs.
Kiteboard * 20 Kgs.
* Kiteboard equipment consists of a board and a parachute.
Under the piece system:
As in the previous point, excess luggage charges will always be applied, regardless of the allowance to which passengers are entitled.
The following will apply:
Windsurfing equipment 4 charges
Surfboard 2 charges
Other components (sail, etc.) 2 charges
Kiteboard * 2 charges
[We asked them to confirm how much passengers will actually be charged and they told us the following - do note that they intend to update these charges on october 1st and hopefully the new policy will be a bit more simple - "Carrying windsurf and surfboards is considered as extra luggage that passengers have to pay in advance or just arriving at the airport. Costs:
Windsurf equipment: 35 kg / 4 charges
Board: 20 kg / 2 charges
Kitesurf Board equipment: 20 kg
Others: 15 kg
1kg = 1,5% over one way tourist class (Y)
This is not available to America, Brasil or Canada, paying from 90 to 130 euros each charge.
Costs will be updated on October 1st. "

If you have flown with, or know a good tip specific to this airline, please
let everyone know by rating it and leaving a report here. Some airlines
don't apply (or even know) their own kit policies so it's useful to see
other people's experiences flying with them …

Surfing , windsurfing equipment and kiteboard.
Surfing equipment consists exclusively of a board. Windsurfing equipment comprises a board, a boom, a centreboard, a mast and a sail, and a Kiteboard equipment comprises a board and a parachute.
1. Booking space
In order for such equipment to be admitted to flights, space must have been booked at least 24 hours before passengers arrive at check-in.
2. Passenger's arrival at the airport
Given the nature of this equipment, passengers must arrive at the airport in sufficient time to allow for the equipment to be checked in, taken to the aircraft and loaded in the hold.
3. Admittance to the flight
If space has been booked, as described in point 1 above, such equipment will be admitted to the flight as accompanied luggage, to be carried in the hold. If the relevant booking has not been made, carriage of the equipment will be subject to the availability of space on the flight. All elements must be suitably arranged and packed, so as to prevent breakage, disruptions or damage when boarding or disembarking and during the flight.
4. Loading the equipment
Bearing in mind that the nature of this equipment normally prevents it from being borne on luggage conveyors , it is left to the discretion of the airline's staff to decide upon a system for facilitating its transport from the check-in area to the aircraft . Any expenses to which that transport may give rise must be met by the passenger.
5. Allowance
The equipment of this kind will always be handled as excess baggage with a fixed rate of 150 EUR, per flight, regardless of the destination. Charge payable only at the airport
