Read the following carefully, it applies to all watersports equipment, but watch the weights!

Can I travel with a bicycle, golf clubs, skis, a snowboard or other sports equipment?
Under normal circumstances, yes. Transportation of items such as golf equipment, bicycles, surfboards, hang gliders and skis costs GBP 15 (EUR 20, DKK 175, SEK 200, ISK 2.000) per flight leg. You do not need to book this service or notify us in advance. Please note that bicycles must be transported with handlebars turned inwards, pedals removed and tyres deflated. All bicycles going from London Stansted (STN) must be transported in corrugated cardboard boxes, usually available in bicycle stores.

Please note that the maximum allowable weight for these oversized items cannot exceed 12 kg without being considered an overweight item, and being subject to additional charges. Additionally, we reserve the right to refuse the transportation of an oversized item weighing more than 20 kg.

The 12 kg weight allowance for your oversized item will not count toward the maximum allowable baggage weight of 20 kg for your additional luggage. However, we reserve the right to refuse the transportation of one or all of the items if the total combined weight of all baggage exceeds 32 kg.

Leaving feedback:
If you have flown with, or know a good tip specific to this airline, please let everyone know by rating it and leaving a report here. Some airlines don't apply (or even know) their own kit policies so it's useful to see other people's experiences flying with them …
