£30 or E48 per flight (return) for scheduled or charter flights for one set of kit, packed into bags upto 32kg.
You can book kit on in advance on the charter flights, but not the scheduled, and you save £5/E8 if you do - the official line is the discount only applies to surfboards, not kitesurf boards.

You can book kit on in advance on the charter flights, but not the scheduled, and you save £5/E8 if you do - the official line is the discount only applies to surfboards, not windsurf boards. Note - the website says that windsurf boards must be less than 2 metres long (which is shorter than any windsurf boards currently on the market!) and this policy isn't enforced!

We flew to Lanza with Monarch in early sept (2009) and took one board bag. It was really easy - altho £17.50 each way (good I guess if you plan to buy a board when you are away - you only pay per journey!?) it was easy. We were even quite late checking in at Gatwick but still there was no problem getting the bag on board.
Easy peasy really!
