There's no policy for kitesurf gear as yet, so you can either contact central reservations at 0861-737-737 or pretend it's a surfboard! Even if you get charged the windsurfer rate instead, it's not too bad.

If you have flown with, or know a good tip specific to this airline, please
let everyone know by rating it and leaving a report here. Some airlines
don't apply (or even know) their own kit policies so it's useful to see
other people's experiences flying with them …
For International flights:
May not be included in free baggage allowance – the following excess special charges apply: GBP65 / ZAR 800 / USD200 per windsurfing board.
Domestic flights: Surfboards will be accepted free of charge up to 15kg over the baggage allowance (i.e., 35kg for economy tickets, 45kg for business). You might be able to convince the check in staff that your tiny wave board is actually a surfboard and get away with it, but we don't promise anything.
Contact central reservations at 0861-737-737, to book it on in advance.
