Overview

The course is a combination of Guy Cribb INtuition’s awesome Freewave and legendary Surf Gods clinics- covering absolutely everything you need to know about wave sailing whether you have limited coastal sailing experience, or are already ripping. Whatever level you are currently at you will move to a significantly higher level with a combination of all things INtuition, from daily video replays of you in action, personal and group coaching sessions for your fastest development, with every moment of your week carefully planned and painstakingly looked after by Guy. All your current skills will become slicker and all your wave sailing skills will be sicker! Many of last years guests and INtuiton regulars are returning, so if you want to take your windsurfing way beyond the next level and have one of the most epic adventures of your life, then please quickly get in touch. We have very limited availability for the last few places with Guy Cribb INtuition in Baja!

Accommodation

You will be staying at the fantastic Solosports campsite. Each person gets a deluxe mini-cabin tent fully loaded with pads, pillows and freshly laundered sleeping bags, use of all our toys like surfboards, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, mountain bikes etc, plus unlimited use of all our new windsurf gear, wireless internet, daily hot showers and total use of our game room with TV/DVD, pool table, ping pong, darts, foosball and library! All your food (eating like kings) all your drinks including beer, wine and spirits (they have an outside bar and lounge) are also covered in the price

Windsurfing Kit

75 Ezzy Panther and Freewave sails rigged on Ezzy carbon masts and Streamlined Carbon booms. (£RRP 599!) boards from RRD, Quatro and Goya and they have some twinzers there. They have over 75 boards from these brands which are available to the whole camp of 20 people max. You will need a harness, summer steamer wetsuit and boots/shoes, if you so wish.

Social

Devoid of alter attractions the bar at Solo Sports is the centre of our evening world. Free drinks are oft in full flow- with the Long Island Ice Teas being rather popular last year, a few Baja Fogs or remarkably good vin rouge from our genie of a barman, quenching your every thirst. Perched around the bar we frequently played spoof resulting in various forfeits played out the following day, that included a ballet performance, spending the whole day in women’s knickers (over clothes or wetsuit) and a sea weed bath amongst other things one can only come up with in the middle of a desert. The pressure of this spoof game was taken very seriously by everyone involved who are all high flying businessmen living like beach bums in Mexico for the week.

Other mad activities were SUPeeing in wrestling gear and thongs, a 100m sprint race against Usain Bolt and more banter, mischievous behaviour and dastardly deeds than you could find on a stag do. When we were removed from the bar we snuggled into beach side sofas and star gazed with the last of the vin rouge on most evenings. Waves rolling in, stars a blazing, camp fires and a free bar- the socials here were some of the very best in the whole of INtuition’s year- and that’s saying something! The staff at Solo Sports said they were the best Baja had ever seen. Early nights or late nights, sunrise surfs and sunset sundowners, we’ve got it covered what ever you’re into. Socials devoid of alter attractions are the best you can get! Some photos of their week in 2009 are here.

Other Activities

Surfing and stand up paddle boarding are world class here and included in the price. It can be a beautiful start or end to a day and teaches you a great deal about waves.

Awesome Mountain biking with specially built routes and easy to use route cards and guided rides are often available. You can use the centres standard bikes, or you can upgrade to top of the range downhill machines.

About Guy

Guy Cribb

Guy Cribb has been a professional
windsurfer since 1990, winning twelve British Champion titles.

Cribby's INtuition holidays are a blend of his unprecedented windsurfing knowledge, travel experiences, enthusiasm and innovation.

Cribby innovated 'muscle memory' as a teaching method for windsurfing (the repetition of body movements until they become intuitive) making moves like carve gibing and freestlye easy to learn in hours instead of months.

He also discovered the very blue print of windsurfing, INtuition Core Skills. These are individual movements that you use time and again whatever level of windsurfing you're at. As individual skills they're easy to learn and enable efficient and rapid progression throughout your windsurfing
