Calling all windsurfing instructors!

Our aim is to provide the best windsurfing holidays available, and we are looking for a select team to help make that happen. To work for us you need to be friendly, fun-loving and committed to helping people improve their windsurfing. It will also help if you love the sport and know your stuff.

We want exceptional windsurfing instructors, but that doesn’t necessarily mean exceptional windsurfers – although you’ll have ample opportunity to improve your own sailing level. It’s more important to our clients that you know how to teach, and take pride in doing it well than spend your lessons showing off your spock540s. We would expect you to have an RYA or equivalent qualification plus some instructing experience, but your attitude and enthusiasm is as important as your personal sailing skills on the water.

Working for Oceansource El Tur means working within a tightly focussed team. You’ll start the day early helping to prepare the centre for the day, then you’ll either be teaching, filming clients and giving feedback or on rescue watch. Once the teaching day is over you’ll help to close down the centre, and then maybe join the guests for some evening social activities later on. You’ll be able to sail when everything’s done for the day or when there’s a quiet moment on the beach. It’s hard work but fun, and the more you put into it the more you’ll get out.
