Group Discounts

Student Discounts
We offer a set student discount of 10% on the above prices. To qualify for the discount you need a recognised student discount card such as the International Student Identity Card (ISIC). If you're thinking about orgainising a University Windsurfing Club trip get in touch and we'll work out a great deal.
Coaching
We don't package instruction with our holiday prices, giving you the choice to include it if you want, and saving you money if you don't. But we do offer very high quality video coaching which makes a massive difference to your sailing and can really make your trip.
El Tur is particularly well suited to video coaching as we can get high quality close-up footage of your sailing in a wide range of conditions. We use the latest hard-drive video recorder so you can see exactly what you’re doing at any part of any move.
Efficient video coaching is now recognised as being the fastest way to improve, and is used by sports coaches all over the world. We use it for intermediate windsurfers mastering planing and the footstraps, right up to experts nailing spocks and loops.
You can prebook coaching or sign up when you arrive in El Tur. The price gets cheaper the more people in a group.

A 1 hour session might typically include 15-20 minutes on-land simulator instruction and 40-45 minutes on-water coaching.
A 4 hour session will include on-land instuction and identifying of goals, on-water practice and coaching, filming and video review time - and the latter is usually done as the sun sets with a cold beer. A 4 hour VCS session is usually spread over 2-3 days and will see the greatest improvement in your sailing.
**The Beginner course is typically around 1-2 hours per day instruction spread over 4 days, and often takes place either early in the morning or late afternoon to catch the lighter winds. Clients are free to continue using the equipment when the lesson ends and the instruction is friendly and relaxed, but based on the current RYA scheme.
Equipment Insurance
Oceansource El Tur offers optional equipment insurance which covers you against any damage caused to Oceansource equipment except where caused deliberately or by gross negligence. All sailing areas are included and minor damage such as dings in boards and dents in sails are fully covered with no excess. For major damage such as broken panels in sails, or major damage to boards there is an excess of £50. Oceansource El Tur reserves the right to refuse equipment to persistent kit destroyers! Insurance is offered at the following rates: 1 week £30, 2 weeks £55. If you choose not to purchase insurance you accept that you will be charged the full replacement cost for major breakages and the full repair cost for minor damage. |
