Moses Bay Hotel

Moses Bay HotelThe only accommodation in El Tur is the Moses Bay Hotel, where all visitors to Oceansource stay. It has 52 spacious rooms spread out over lush gardens with views over both the Red Sea and Moses Bay.

Rooms

Each room is comfortable and simply decorated with a veranda or balcony, air conditioning and en-suite bathroom. No room is more than a short stroll to either the restaurant or the windsurfing centre.

Moses Bay Hotel RoomFor those on a tight budget there are also a small number of beach bungalows. These are quaint looking wooden shacks located just behind the windsurfing centre. They're slightly less spacious and guests staying here have access to a toilet block with washing facilites and hot showers. The bungalows come as part of a half board package exactly the same as those staying in the hotel proper.

Food and Drink
Summer BBQ
The hotel offers a buffet style breakfast and dinner, with a wide choice of local specialities and western style food. Lunch is normally served at the beach at the new beach bar, and you can choose from an extensive menu with plenty of healthy and hearty options.

The hotel bar serves a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and runs a waiter service during meals. A new beach bar has recently opened serving drinks and snacks during the day, including fresh juices and pizzas. This is located right next door to the Oceansource El Tur centre.

Childcare

The hotel doesn’t offer any childcare services, but the area is very safe for children due to its location at the end of a peninsular with no passing traffic. The beach is private and very quiet and there are areas where small children can enjoy making sandcastles and splashing around in the calm water while parents watch over them from the comfort of a sheltered sun lounger. Set within the gardens there is also a simple children’s playground area, and a children’s paddling pool.

if you have any special requirements then please let us know and we will do our best to facilitate your needs.

Habibi Beach Hotel

Wavesailing at Habibi BeachThe owner of the Moses Bay Hotel is currently building a hotel at the famous Habibi Wave Beach just 5 minutes up the road from the centre. Progress on the Habibi hotel (officially knows as Berrylands after the owner's daughter) is a little on the slow side but we hope for it to open sometime in 2009. You can follow the progress of the hotel on our Habibi Beach Blog.
