Oceansource is Hosting its own Windsurfing Competition!

Where better to have a competition than the Ultimate Windsurfing Playground? The team in El Tur have decided to set up an event for all windsurfers in Egypt, hoping to bring people from all of the other resorts to check out the fantastic location they have and join in the fun.

The competition will be run from 6th-7th August, with most of the action on the 6th followed by a beach BBQ thanks to Moses Bay Hotel, and then of course an after-event party. The 7th will host more fun racing and also time to freesail for people who have never been here before.

The competition will consist of freestyle heats, during which they are hoping to have some of the Egyptian windsurfers from Dahab showing off their moves and making the most of a local competition, as well as other very advanced freestylers who make egypt their home or holiday destination.

The freestyle will be followed by Master Blaster Racing, making the most of the large area in El Tur and getting all abilities involved.

There will be a small entry fee which will be put into the prize fund for the best windsurfers on the day, guys and girls.

Its definitely not just for the competitors though, if you are interested in coming just for the event, BBQ or party, you will be very welcome and the more people, the more fun. There will be approximately 50 people already staying in the two centres at El Tur, and so the support and party should be very good.
