Location Overview
Located approximately 315 km (200 miles) south of Manila, lies the beautiful island of Boracay, now famous for its fantastic windsurfing and kitesurfing conditions.
A backpacker's paradise throughout the 80s, Boracay quickly developed into a cosmopolitan tourism destination and is now voted Asia's top windsurfing and kitesurfing holiday destination.
Boracay's two primary tourism beaches, White Beach and Bulabog Beach, are located on opposite sides of the island's narrow central area and within 15 minutes walk apart. Consistently voted one of the top 10 beaches in the world, White Beach faces westward whilst windward facing Bulabog Beach faces eastward and is the island's main windsurfing and kiteboarding area. The island also has several other, more secluded beaches.
