Make your pilgrimage to Maui which has long been regarded as the world's most famous windsurfing destination. Spectacular landscape with a volcano at its centre piece, long white beaches and some of the most reliable conditions on earth, this is windsurfing at its best. Maui's geographical location means you can enjoy tropical conditions all year-round. Wave-heads will enjoy September-March as the Pacific winter storms kick-up a spectacular swell along the north shore. The swell tends to drop from March onwards making Maui more suitable for all-rounders. For beginners and intermediates, head for Kanaha Beach Park where you can enjoy flat water to bump and jump and even some waves breaking further out along the reef. Advanced sailors should head for 'Sprecks' or even Hookipa where you can enjoy sailing with the pros.
